Dear friend and partner in prayer, With so much focus on the Olympics in Japan this month, we have a great opportunity to focus our prayer on Japan and the Japanese people.
As a ministry we have been praying for Japan since 2013. We currently have 2 women discipling women through Love UnVeiled online in Japan; Masako in Orlando (originally from Japan) and Marli in Brazil (where there also is a huge Japanese community). A third butterfly in Orlando, previously a missionary in Japan, is also praying for open doors to disciple women in Japan.
I have attached a short video report from CBN with prayer needs for Japan, which suggests suicide in Japan is the highest in the world. Masako has verified that the prayer needs in this report are real.
The report says the greatest need in Japan is for an outpouring of the power of the Holy Spirit on the church.
Please join us in praying:
- Holy Spirit will work powerfully through the women we are discipling online to bring transformation in their lives and equip them in the truth and and empower them in the Spirit to unveil God’s love and hope to more women in Japan.
- For translation of LUV teaching materials into Japanese so that the Word will be available to bring light and truth, hope and freedom in Jesus, to Japanese women in their own language.
- For an out-pouring of the Holy Spirit in power over Japan to bring a spiritual awakening to nonbelievers, and fresh wind, fresh power to the church in Japan, among old and young.
- For Japanese people to have divine encounters with Jesus and spiritual interactions with ministries at the Olympics through the outreach and distribution of the Jesus Film and other Christian literature and media.
- Let’s pray the Holy Spirit will move powerfully in Japan during the Olympics “to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’” Acts 26:18
