The Purpose of Women’s Leadership Training
“Today, two thirds of all bible believing
Christians are women.” In his book “Why
Not Women” Lauren Cunningham, Founder of
YWAM (Youth With A Mission) writes “when
two thirds of the Christians are excluded
from the work of evangelizing, the loss
for God’s cause is so great it can hardly
be described.“ Yet in many countries around
the world, most women receive no leadership
or discipleship training when they come
into relationship with Christ.
Love UnVeiled believes its possible to
greatly impact the world in our generation
by equipping and empowering women to fulfill
their part in the Great Commission and
make disciples of all nations.
Given the right training, tools and encouragement,
Love UnVeiled believes women can be powerful
instruments to help change their homes,
their community, and even the world. As
natural communicators, women are a vital
part of God’s design to carry out His purpose
in spreading the gospel to others.
In many areas of the world woman do not
receive the privilege of formal leadership
training. We want to help women use their
God-given gifts effectively to change their
communities. Women have a unique position
of trust and influence among their family,
friends, and in social settings. It has
been said, “If you share the gospel with
a man he may not tell anyone; but share
it with a woman and she will tell her children,
her husband, and all the women in her community.”
Just like the woman at the well, her life
changing encounter with Jesus, inspired
her to tell her whole community (John 4:1-26).
Love UnVeiled exists to help release women
to be all God has created them to be. We
desire women to discover their identity
in Christ – who they are and who God wants
them to be. We want to help women develop
their gifts so that they can be effective
in ministering to others.
How is this accomplished?
Our seminars provide an opportunity for
women to deepen their relationship with
God and develop their gifts to influence
and disciple others in their community.
Our desire is that it is a special time
of intimacy, fellowship and spiritual refreshment
for each woman.
We provide biblical training in leadership
and discipleship principles, and equip
women with tools for developing women’s
ministry. Women have an opportunity to
discover and develop their spiritual gifts
and personal skills, and learn how to use
them in their homes and community. We equip
women to lead others in one-on-one discipleship,
and small group bible study so that they
can help other women find their own identity
and purpose in Christ.
Definition of a Leader
Love UnVeiled defines a leader as any
person who positively influences another
person’s life. The success of the Women’s
Leadership Training Seminars is in spiritual
multiplication. We want to help women practice
effective leadership in their own lives
and be fully equipped to help others in
their families and communities find freedom
and abundant life in Christ.
